27 de Abril Será um Grande Dia para os Fãs de Kagurabachi

Os fãs de Kagurabachi aguardam ansiosamente um grande anúncio sobre o anime que pode acontecer em breve.

Kagurabachi ’s long-awaited anime announcement looks like it’s coming sooner than anyone thought.

Shonen Jump is hosting a special Jump Press Showcase event on April 27, and a major Kagurabachi anime announcement could be in the cards. Accompanying the initial reveal of the live stream was a key visual that provided some awesome hints at what will be announced.

Of course, Kagurabachi isn’t the only star of the show — fans of Hunter X Hunter , Sakamoto Days and Black Clover are in for some surprises. But recent rumors and leaks suggest that Kagurabachi ’s big anime announcement will undeniably steal the show.

Jump Press’ Key Visual Hints at a Kagurabachi Anime Announcement Coming

The key visual for Jump Press’ live stream announcement is interesting because it provides several obvious hints at the series to be covered at the event.

The key visual depits a group of bullets which fans expect to relate to Sakamoto Days . There’s also a hawk which may hint at Promised Neverland (hopefully a much-needed remake of Season 2 of the anime). A tattered book in the key visual looks just like a Grimoire from Black Clover . And there’s even a necklace that strongly resembles Kurapika’s from Hunter X Hunter — potentially indicating the release of HXH ’s new chapters.

Among all these huge hints at what’s coming, the biggest talk of the town has definitely been the humble goldfish seen in the key visual that’s very obviously alluding to Chihiro’s Enten in Kagurabachi . It’s clear that Kagurabachi will get some kind of big announcement during the Jump Press live stream on April 27.

Leading up to this reveal, there have been several rumors circulating regarding a Kagurabachi anime, though there has been no official announcement yet. This Jump Press live stream may finally be that announcement, and prominent leakers have already begun hinting that it is.

According to known leaker Sugoi LITE (and corroberated by others), Kagurabachi ‘s anime will be announced during Jump Press, and is already in production. Apparently, the anime is being produced by CygamesPictures (known for Umamusume , The Summer Hikaru Died and Apocalypse Hotel ), and will be coming out in 2027. With nothing official yet, such leaks can’t be taken at face value, but fans will nonetheless find out very soon.

Kagurabachi Is Definitely Getting a Big Announcement This Month, Anime or Not

Whether the leaks about the anime are right or not, Kagurabachi is definitely getting some kind of big announcement on April 27. Another potential candidate for a Kagurabachi announcement is just a formal reveal of Kagurabachi Volume 11’s cover art and a definite release date. Updates on Shueisha’s website have suggested Kagurabachi Volume 11 will get a May 1 release date in Japan, but it still hasn’t been officially announced.

Earlier this year, Kagurabachi concluded Part 1 of the manga with Chapter 112, released on February 15. The series has not slowed down at all since then, with the manga’s author Takeru Hokazono continuing to deliver new chapters week after week as the slow build of Part 2 gets underway. At this point, the manga has plenty of material released for an anime adaptation to begin production, and there could easily be 3 seasons worth of material released by the time Season 1 of the anime finally does drop.

Kagurabachi is easily one of the biggest new gen shonen out there right now, and a true progeny of classic shonen battle manga. Its upbeat action and in-depth power system follow in the tradition of huge hits like Hunter X Hunter and Jujutsu Kaisen , and it has all the dark, bloody atmosphere to fit in with the Chainsaw Man ’s of the world, too. Perhaps the thing that Kagurabachi is best-known for is Hokazono’s highly dynamic art and paneling during the fight scenes, which the anime will certainly want to try to recreate with its action sequences.

In terms of popularity, Kagurabachi has been considered “the next big thing” for a while. It’s currently 6th on Manga Plus ’ top ongoing manga ranking, only under major legacy hits like Sakamoto Days , Spy X Family , Dandadan , Boruto and One Piece . To do those kinds of numbers without an anime (which all the competitors above it already have) is truly impressive, so there’s no telling how big Kagurabachi could become when the anime finally arrives.

The Kagurabachi manga by Takeru Hokazono is available to read via Viz Media, Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump app.
